Amanda Barnes has a professional background that has always involved being a helper and being of service to others.
She has many years of experience in higher education and student affairs; a former career development specialist and is now an avid traveler and travel professional. She holds certifications as a Dream Maker, Vacation Builder, and a Jamaica Specialist. Amanda is the owner a travel business, Virgo On the Go and is the Founder of Earn Your Dreams Women’s Alliance which creates an online support system to connect, plan and implement travel experiences for mature women.
Having found complete enjoyment combining her passion for travel and service to others, she is focused on building a legacy for her family and helping others to do the same. Amanda has traveled to 37 of the 50 states in the US, internationally to Canada, Mexico, Cuba, Spain, Egypt, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and the Caribbean islands of Jamaica and the Bahamas. The world is her bucket list. Friends, family, and business associates describe her as a leader who is creative, adventurous, fun and driven.
Amanda is originally from Northeast Ohio and currently resides in San Ramon, CA with her son and his family.
